Job Description: Part-Time Kitchen & Activity
Part-Time, Weekend - Kitchen & Rec Position
Reports to: Lead Staff, Food Service Director
Pay Grade (2023): Part-Time, $17/Hour
Supervises: N/A
Position Description:
This person will be scheduled for weekend kitchen shifts and activity shifts on the Lake Retreat campus while guest groups are present as needed. Weekend help (primarily Saturday) is needed from September through mid-June. During the summer season, other hours are available, as we run throughout the week.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Kitchen shifts which include, but are not limited to:
- Prep
Dishes
Cutting
Clean Up
Mopping/Sweeping
Wiping
- Prep
- Help with activity shifts (axe throwing, boats, paint & snack, etc.) as needed
Qualifications:
- Christ-like attitude
- Flexible and willing to learn
Education and Experience:
• None
• Must be willing and able to obtain WA State Food Handlers Card
Physical Aspects of the Job:
- Outdoor and indoor working environment
- Lifting/carrying occasionally of products or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
